The Town of Shaftsbury is divided into two school districts governed by separate school boards. Shaftsbury has a local elementary school "Shaftsbury Elementary" which teaches kindergarten through sixth grade. The southwestern portion of the town sends their children to North Bennington Elementary for K-6. Children in grades 7 & 8 attend Mount Anthony Middle School in Bennington and grades 9 through 12 attend Mount Anthony Union High School, also in Bennington. |
