Shaftsbury – The Town of Shaftsbury will be holding Free Tire Day and Household Hazardous Waste Day at the Town Solid Waste Facility at 526 North Road.

Shaftsbury, Pownal and Stamford residents are invited to participate in Household Hazardous Waste Day on Saturday October 11^th, 2008 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. No Latex paint will be accepted.

Only Shaftsbury residents are invited to participate in Free Tire Day. Free Tire Day will be held on Saturday October 11^th, 2008 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. We will be accepting only 4 tires without rims from per household.

Shaftsbury residents with current 2008-2009 landfill permits may participate in this free service.
